Open the computer and see if the adus cable plugs into the Motherboard directly or into a video card. If you never get that green led light then either the video card is bad or not seated properly. ASUS has p4s8000 great site to help installing a new board.

I bought this motherboard and installed with all directions on the manual but when booting it up the monitor light stay on orange instead of green so the integrated graphics don’t seem to be working some how, so I installed a gainward gforce TI in great condition in the vga socket and when boot again the light on monitor goes green for two seconds then goes orange again but the system appeared to be working all fans going, so I plug a speaker to hear if beeps but does not, I cant figuer out the internal speaker yet I’m working on it now, please helpme the computer is a celeron 2.
If the monitor works then you know you have a video output issue.
Take your memory out and then reseat the modules. If it plugs directly into the Motherboard add a video card to the slot nearest the power supply. When it receives no video signal from the computer, it will stay powered for a few seconds before giving up and presuming the PC is off hence azus it stays green for a while, then goes orange.
